Jean-Paul was born in Colchester but as he grew to hate normality the path of insanity was laid before him. He realised at an early age that he wanted more than ordinary life had to offer so while hiding away from the world around him, taught himself to play guitar at 15 by listening to bands such as Guns 'n' Roses, Pink Floyd and Queensryche.

Bored of playing in cover bands and the laziness of the local talent he realised things had to change. Fate kicked into motion when he met singer Kelly Jones in 1998. They became very good friends moving in and around London and Torquay while writing songs and searching for other collaborators. The first circle of Jack's Family became complete in 2002 after meeting Cary and Nicholas and later with Darren and Rich in the band it all fell into place.

Jean-Paul wants to take this band all the way to the top, playing all the stadiums in the world and bringing the music to millions of people. One thing is certain, he won't settle for anything less than legendary status!
